This steel frame assembly is engineered as the core load-bearing structure for power-adjustable front seat backrests in passenger vehicles. Integrating an electric recliner drive, high-strength tubular steel frame, and S-shaped spring suspension grid, it relies on dual DC motors to achieve stepless electronic backrest angle adjustment. Designed to assemble with cushion foam and PU foam backrests, it fits ICE and new energy vehicles for OEM production and aftermarket retrofits.

Main Perimeter Frame |
Q235 cold-rolled seamless steel tubing, wall thickness 1.2 to 1.5 mm; One-piece bent and fully welded; Full electro-coating anti-rust treatment for corrosion resistance in humid vehicle environments. |
S-Type Support Springs |
High-carbon manganese spring steel wire, wire diameter 3.2 to 3.8 mm; Heat-treated, quenched, and tempered; Long-lasting elasticity, anti-fatigue tension, and resistant to slack or deformation. |
Recliner Mechanism Main Unit |
Die-cast alloy steel gear set components with high-strength stamped shell casing; Mechanical pawl ratchet locking structure. |
Buffer Sleeves |
EPDM aging-resistant rubber; Resistant to high and low temperatures, wear-resistant, and anti-aging; Prevents metal-on-metal friction noise. |
Actuation System |
Dual-side independent geared DC motors; Rated working voltage DC 12V (standard vehicle voltage). |
Adjustment Speed |
Single full reclined-to-upright transit time 4 to 7 seconds; Smooth operation without jerking or shock. |
Self-Locking Performance |
Mechanical pawl locks automatically upon motor power shutoff; Withstands 1500 N backrest pressure without slipping or angular displacement. |
Control & Memory Support |
Side-seat physical button controls; Supports vehicle seat position memory expansion. |
Motor Service Life |
Cumulative operating cycles 15000 or higher start-stop adjustments without failure. |
