This assembly is a dedicated internal actuator mechanism for cable-controlled 90-degree folding vehicle seat headrests. Integrating a black engineered plastic locking base, chrome-plated headrest stay rods, and a cable-linkage release mechanism, it relies on remote cable control to unlock and fold the entire headrest 90 degrees backward flush against the backrest. Widely utilized in rear seats and MPV business seats, it folds the headrest down in tandem with backrest lowering to avoid cargo space interference and prevent interior trim collisions, combining standard vertical height adjustment with 90-degree fold-away storage.
